A guy introduced himself inside our Skool community earlier today.
He shared what and did and for who.
He’s not in the teaching people digital marketing space, but maybe he should be.
Here’s what he shared:
You see that?
You notice the specificity in WHO and helps and HOW he helps them.
I’m willing to bet he’s one of maybe…MAYBE 50 people in the world who does WHAT he does for WHO he does it for.
I see bio after bio online stating: “Helping YOU make money online”
Or something along the lines of, “Helping Moms make money online”
That 2nd one is better than the first, but it’s not good.
The example above is a specific person: Busy Dads (first responders, too)
Not men. Not women. Not even just Dads.
He helps “Busy Dads”
He doesn’t help them lift weights, do sprints, run marathons, or eat right.
He helps them build strength via kettlebell workouts.
I’m a Dad.
I have a few kettlebells laying around the house, collecting dust.
He told the group he’s working on an ebook.
I told him to let me know when it’s available, and I’ll be his 1st customer.
It’s a phrase I share often.
I heard a mentor say it to me years ago, and it’s this:
“Specificity spits out cash”
Vague, general content is allergic to money.
It causes wallets and purses top sprint the other way.
Specificity attracts money like a stripper’s G-string from the construction crew that stops in the strip club on a Friday afternoon.
