I had an idea for an offer in August.
I wanted to run ads to it.
Then in late October, I told myself I wanted to get ads running after the Threads Unleashed Vol. 2 launch (early November)
I found a guy I was gonna hire.
I dragged my feet.
My friend suggested that I just launch the ads myself last Monday.
I set up the ads last Monday night.
They went live on Tuesday.
Facebook ads takes time, and a whole lot of testing.
It’s not an instant thing like most assume it is.
It’s a skillset.
I ran ads years ago, but I know the landscape has changed drastically.
I got my 1st sale 8 hours into the campaign.
0 sales on Wednesday.
3 sales on Thanksgiving.
0 sales on Black Friday.
2 sales on Saturday.
2 sales on Sunday.
3 sales today (so far)
Total spend: $373.34
Total sales: $433.00
Profit: $59.66
I am tickled pink with these results!
My goal was to validate this offer.
This is a brand new offer that I’ve never made sales with.
I was looking to generate 5 sales, which I would say is a “validated offer”.
A week into it, and I have 11 sales.
Offer validated.
I have no upsells or down sells.
It’s the most expensive time of year (holidays) to be running ads.
And I’m profitable!
Wild.
I’m adding in a couple of upsells this week, and a downsell.
This should add to my profits.
I’m also building a list of BUYERS.
I’m limited to spending $50/day on Facebook, as new ad accounts have a “Daily Max” of $50/day (something I learned this weekend)
Apparently, they increase the daily max over time (on time payments)
I wish I could spend more, however, I need to dial things in with my funnel (upsells & downsells).
I guess Facebook is doing me a favor my throttling my budget.
I have a goal to be earning $100/day in profits by Christmas.
The lesson:
Don’t wait on something like I did. If I launched ads in August like I planned, I have no doubt I’d be earning $500+ per day in profits right now.
I waited as I was nervous.
I was scared it “wouldn’t work”.
Like Young Jeezy once said:
“Scared money don’t make no money”
There’s only 1 way to find out if something is gonna work or no.
JUST DO IT!!
You tweak and make adjustments along the way.
I know that, yet I continue to be my own worst enemy.
