2 money making skills few talk about

Simple is my “love language”.

My entire business boils down to 2 things:

• I tell stories
• I make offers

Yesterday, I sent an email about our flag football game. I made an offer.

On Friday, I shared a DM I received from someone about running ads. I shared my take on ads in my email, and then I made an offer.

On Wednesday, I wrote an email about how I use a testimonial took called Senja. I used their AI tool to analyze my 342 testimonials. I’m not using that intel in my content (social & emails). I made an offer.

Tuesday was about a question someone asked me on Threads, Monday was about how I spent $151 on an ad with no call to action, and last Sunday was about how I’ve been working on the 3 Hour Creator.

I got this email yesterday from a subscriber:

Telling stories and making offers are 2 high value skill sets.

Like with anything in life, you get better with practice.

I use email to “fine tune” both these skill sets.

And some enjoy my emails (like this comment above).

• Share stories on social.
• Build your email list.
• Email your list more stories (or repurpose ones from social on email, or vice versa).
• Make offers to your people.

That’s really the gist of it.

There’s nuance to it like with everything in life.

Work on your storytelling.

Work on creating and making offers.

You’ll get better the more you practice.

I was horrendous at kissing girls when I started.

Just flat out BAD.

Bit her lip, our noses collided. I walked home convinced she’d tell the whole school, and I’d die single, childless, and bitter at 16.

But here’s the thing…

Over time, and a LOT of practice…

I got kinda good at this kissing thing.

Turns out, kissing is a skill.

Story telling and making offers ain’t much different that kissing girls.

Awkward at first. Embarrassing sometimes.

But with practice, you go from horrendous…to ok…to pretty damn good.
