Another hard hitting message at church this morning. Very timely. I truly believe there are no coincidences in life. He was talking about prayer, but my brain instantly jumped to one of my all time favorite Jim Rohn quotes: “Don’t wish it was easier. Wish you were better. Jim Rohn drops the mic with that one. Most of us spend way too much time/energy wishing for “easy” mode. We pray for else stress at work. We cross our fingers for easier weeks. We daydream about the one day that life just chills out. I hate to break it to ya…that day probably ain’t coming. Life doesn’t get easier. Business doesn’t magically start working. YOU get better. YOU get stronger. YOU start making better decisions. The Dad who goes from “I’m too busy” to “I WILL make the time” The Creator who stops chasing 37 shiny hacks and finally builds a simple system. The guy who finally says….”I’m sick of watching others from the sidelines. I’m committing myself to do the damn thing, put in the work, and I ain’t stopping until I build my dream”.
