Here’s a hard truth most don’t want to hear… Your people don’t need more information. If they can Google it, or Chat GPT it, it’s probably not a good piece of content to share. If information alone was all we needed, we’d all be millionaires, walking around with six pack abs, and a different color Porsche for each day of the week. That ain’t how the game works, though. What your audience craves is stuff not found on Google/Chat GPT:
They want your LIVED WISDOM Here’s some good story based prompts to get the juices in your head flowing… Here’s what I tried…. Here’s what DID work… Here’s what did NOT work… Here’s why I pivoted…. Here’s what surprised me…. Here’s what I’d do differently next time… Now, this stuff might not go viral. It might not get all the likes and comments (You cannot pay your mortgage with vanity metrics) But this is the content that builds trust. This is the content that makes people feel seen. Heard. Understood. This is the content where they feel they’re not alone. You have experiences that could save someone time, money, stress, anxiety, shame, guilt, embarrassment, frustration, fear & frequent trips to the liquor store. That’s what your people want.
