I haven’t ran a Facebook ad in 5 years.
If all goes right, that’ll change this weekend.
I’m launching a brand-new offer this weekend with Facebook/Instagram ads.
Marketing with ads is a lot different from marketing organically.
You need 2 things when marketing with ads:
- You need a killer offer
- You need a killer sales page
Since the people clicking on my ad don’t know me from…Adam…I have a few seconds to “sell” them on me/my offer.
It’s a completely different approach.
With organic…
I don’t use sales pages now.
I use simple checkout pages.
I don’t need a long sales page because my content does the selling for me.
The new offer is a bundle of products that’s a killer deal.
I’m hiring a guy to run the ads for me, as I don’t have interest in learning that skill again (I ran ads years ago, but they’ve changed drastically).
It’s much faster to hire a professional.
He’ll get (hopefully) much better results, much faster.
I’m willing to pay for speed.
I plan to scale this up to $30k – $50k months in the next 90 days.
It’s an aggressive goal, but think it’s doable.
The quarter is an expensive time to start running ads with the big bot brands advertising for the holidays.
I have no desire to wait until January 1st.
It’s looking like my Detroit Lions are going to be playing in the Super Bowl in New Orleans in February, and tickets ain’t cheap!
