I’ve been staying at my parents house for the month of Janaury. At 44, it’s not something I “brag” about on the socials. I’ve been house hunting this month. I got approved for the one I wanted last Friday. Dropped off the security deposit on Monday. Signed the lease yesterday. I picked up the keys this morning. A new chapter begins! It’s in the same neighborhood as the kid’s Mom (it’s a 4,000 home neighborhood), so we’re close. We’re splitting the kids 50/50. Not exactly how my guidance counselor laid out my life plan in 6th grade. But that’s life. It rarely goes as planned. Your business? Same thing. Most people call that “failing.” I call it, “figuring it TF out” phase. Often times progress doesn’t look flashy or pretty.
