You ever have a day where nothing goes to plan?!? Yea, me, too. It’s 6:51 pm. I’ve yet to shower. I had a convo with my developer last night at 11:00 pm “I’m launching this thing in 13 hours (noon)” I originally planned to launch it at 8 am, however, told him noon as I know we had things to do. I woke up this morning assuming he’d been working on it while I was drooling on my pillow. That was a stupid assumption. “Are you going to hook up Stripe? Why isn’t the domain set up?” I asked him this around 8:00 am. He got back to me a bit after 9. Told me it was gonna be 5-6 more hours. W-H-A-T?!?! I told him I need to launch this thing at noon. We went back and forth all day today. Around 3:20, things were looking close. He stopped replying to my messages (assumed he went to bed as he’s on the other side of the world). That left me to finish it off myself. EEK!!! So I went to Claude. And asked it how to do things I’ve never done before. I learned launching a software is 238x harder than launching a PDF on a Stan store. I tried connecting Stripe and couldn’t figure it out. Error message after error message. I damn near ran to the liquor store — damn my 2,579 day sober streak! I asked Claude, “Would connecting Thrive Cart be easier?” “Yes, it would be a lot easier” Claude replied. I set up a checkout page on Thrive Cart. But I encounter problem after problem after problem today. I found a solution (with a MASSIVE assist from Claude). Feeling damn proud of myself right now. 2,579 days sober. Zero drinks needed.
