Last week of school hits different when you work for yourself

The kids woke up this morning buzzing.

It’s their last Tuesday of the school year.

Friday is their last day of school.

They energy is the house has been off the chain the last couple of days.

Two years ago, I was driving Uber till late.

Rarely being up before the kids left for school.

I was driving drunks around the Vegas strip to pay rent.

I somewhat controlled my schedule, although, my nights were for shuffling people around the strip.

Now, I’m here, present, sipping my hazelnut coffee from Walmart (I ain’t bougee coffee drinker). Nowhere to be but home.

That’s why I do what I do.

It ain’t for the Stripe notifications, or the big launch numbers.

It’s THIS.

The ability to be standing in the kitchen on a Tuesday morning watching your kids lose their minds over no school for the next 2.5 months.

The ability to drive Ava to the bus stop, then take Ashton to school 45 minutes later.

Being home when she gets home at 2:45, then heading to his school at 3 to pick him up at 3:11.

I promise you have the knowledge, wisdom, and/or skillset to build something like this, Reader.

You might not have packaged it up properly.

Your common knowledge is million dollar advice to someone else.

YOU GOT THIS 🙌

In your corner,
Adam
