Old Adam would’ve skipped this

It was moving day today.

So I’m writing this email at 9:40 pm.

Furniture that looked lighter on the website.

Boxes that looked light, and I think I threw my back out picking it up.

At 44, I ain’t no spring chicken no mo’.

The kids stopped by and picked out their rooms.

Ava got the one with the walk in closet.

Ashton got the bigger room.

I get the remaining spare bedroom to turn into an office/YouTube studio.

I told myself I was gonna write this email earlier today. What an adorable thought that was 😜

Old Adam would have said, “It’s too late…I ain’t gonn a send out this email”.

No one would have noticed, but…

I would have.

I’ve sent a daily email every day since July 26th. 189 straight days.

I ain’t gonna break my streak cause I’m tired. Or that I slept like shit last night. Or that I got more moving to do tomorrow.

Just like walking 10,000 steps/day.

Or doing 100 pushups every day since May 1, 2024.

Or journaling for 220 straight days.

Or meditating for 125ish straight days.

I start a habit, I don’t stop.

It’s a healthy addiction, unlike that addiction to Jack Daniels I had from 2000 – 2013.

Here’s what I learned:

Consistency ain’t about motivation. It’s about identity.

Old Adam = “I’ll do it when I feel like it”
New Adam = “I do what I said I’d do”

Your business is the same.

Most wait to “feel like” posting.

They wait to “feel like” launching.

They wait to “feel like” showing up.

That ain’t what we do ’round here, k, Reader?

We show up tired, and messy.

That’s the difference ’round these parts.

YOU GOT THIS 🙌

In your corner,
Adam

P.S. A friend of mine is sprinkling her magic on the 3 Hour Creator PDF.

Here’s a sneak peak at one of the pages she sent me this evening…
