I launched ads for The Offer Wizard™ on Wednesday… In typical, “fast, imperfect action” fashion… The funnel isn’t “done”. Things aren’t working properly, but I’m the “build the parachute on the way down” kinda guy. I’ve had a few tell me they tried to buy the upsell, but the button didn’t work. DOH! After 2.5 days, here are the stats… Ad spend: $78.12 This is with a broken funnel. Now, I ain’t getting too excited just yet. It’s SUPER early. But with a $5 tool…being profitable with no upsells. That brought in 12 new customers? I’m happy with that. Here’s the real lesson… They say it’s 5x – 12x easier to sell to a current customer over a new prospect. The Wizard is NOT design to make me money. It’s designed to generate a happy customer. These customers are now inside my YOUniverse. Someone I can help. Someone I can serve again. They already said, “Yes” once. That’s the real magic of running ads. It ain’t the $5 sale. It’s the lifetime value of the customer. The backend is any business is where the real money (and profits) are made. Most wait for the “perfect” offer or funnel, and tweak for 37 weeks.
