The “mind movie” trick that sells without selling

I shared this in Threads UNleashed…

Mind movies.

Creating content (written or video), so specific you’re “painting a picture” for your audience.

If they can “see” it, it makes it more believable.

More believable = More trust

Trust = Sales.

Most content online is vague, general or vanilla.

It blends in with the dreaded sea of sameness.

Start creating mind movies for your people.

BAD: I help Dads lose weight.

GOOD: Are you sick of getting winded after 45 seconds wrestling your kids on the living room floor

Same Dad, same problem. One you don’t even notice as you scroll right past it. The other stops the scroll.

Years ago a mentor said to me…

“Specificity spits out cash”

This applies to your offer and your content.

Here’s the “silly” test I use…

Can I draw a picture of it?

“I’m broke” is tough to draw.

Credit cards stacking up on the kitchen table while the kids are sleeping” is something that you can draw,

Work on making your content more specific, and don’t be surprised if those Stripe notifications start hitting your email more often.
