“If you’re not pissing someone off by noon, you’re not marketing hard enough”
This is a quote from Dan Kennedy.
PLEASE…
Limit the “how to” content you publish.
I’m not saying “how to” content is bad.
However, the internet has a plethora of “how to” content.
What the internet does NOT have is…
Insights/wisdom from YOU.
Share your experiences & your lessons learned — the good, the bad and the ugly.
Share your beliefs. What you stand for. What you’re against. Who/What you disagree with (and why).
This is what your market desperately craves.
For example, here are four beliefs I share;
- Passive income is a lie
- You don’t need a funnel
- Affiliate marketing is not a business
- Multiple streams of income is a stupid idea (when starting out)
These are MY beliefs.
They go “against the grain”
They piss people off.
I don’t say these things just to say them. I share why I believe them.
A lot of entrepreneurs messaging is soft as baby , and this usually is because…
- They don’t know who their market is
- They regurgitate what everyone else says
- They don’t share their beliefs, as they’re terrified of pissing people off.
They’re very vanilla/boring/dry.
Polarization is one of the best things you can do in your marketing (look at Chappelle).
Too many are terrified of upsetting people, so they play it “safe” as they’re more concerned about likes than impact/income.
Don’t be like most people.

Late last night, after I put the kids to bed, I recorded a podcast for your listening ears.
