Why I Obsessively Track My Numbers

I’m a numbers’ nerd.

I obsessively track my numbers.

I like to be as efficient as possible.

I joke that “I’m lazy“, but I like to work smarter.

I’m all about working LESS, while earning MORE.

Last week, I charted out where my last 100 sales came from.

Here’s what I found:

My Threads following is twice the size of my IG following, so that makes sense, right?

Not so fast…

I spend 80% of my time on Threads.

And maybe 30 mins/day on IG.

Per my data, I need to spend more time on IG.

Alex Hormozi published a video a few weeks back with some interesting data.

His most profitable channels (in order) are:

I’m not abandoning Threads by any means.

I’ll just spend less time there, and more time on IG.

This is why I track my shit.

It lets me know where I should and shouldn’t be spending my time.

You can set up Google Analytics (also free) to track your links.

Tracking can be as boring as watching paint dry for some.

But I’m reminded by the quote:

“You cannot improve what you don’t measure”
