What I built during lunch today (took 1 hour)

I missed my 4:15 email send. By chance, the Lions game was being played on TV here in Vegas. So Pops and I watched the game. Anywhoo… I sat down at my computer around lunch time. Had an idea. I want to build a custom GPT to help Creators build a high ticket ($3k-$10k) coaching offer using my frameworks. I opened up, Claude. Downloaded a few of my frameworks & templates that I’ve developed over the years (Google Documents). An hour later… Claude spit out a prompt that I could copy & past…

Most creators are proposing on the 1st date

I launched The Offer Wizard™ on November 3rd. Last night, it crossed $10,031.75 in sales. Not including backend sales. From a $5 tool. Now here’s the part that usually messes with people’s heads… The Offer Wizard™ is NOT my main offer. It’s what I call my “first date offer”. Let me explain…. Most creators are out here proposing on the first date. They meet someone for the first time…Then immediately ask for $500, $1,000, $2,000. And then act shocked when they get ghosted. That’s like…

The 2% rule everyone ignores

I was chatting with a client the other day. Here’s the takeaway from our conversation: Your first order of business is to validate an offer. My definition: Sell something 10-15 times and get 2-5 pieces of social proof. Once you get there, it’s a million times easier to create content (and make sales). Then build out the funnel (bump offers and upsells), then the ascension plan (what you’re going to sell them after they buy the initial offer). The REAL money in any business — online or…

Last day

The last day of 2025. A clean slate tomorrow. New beginnings. I had a wonderful 2025. I wouldn’t trade it for the world. My solo Dad era begins tomorrow. I stayed in the house through the holidays (for the kids). I’ve spent the last few weeks looking at places. A few in mind, and plan to move in to my place in a couple of weeks. Until then? I’m staying with Mom & Dad. A few years ago? I would’ve seen this as failure. Rock bottom. Moving back home at 44? Proof I couldn’t make things work. I…

My biggest mistake of 2025 (this one stings)

I wasn’t planning on writing this email. I was going to write a much longer blog post in 2026 with my 3 biggest mistakes of 2025 (still might do that). But I saw a post from Hannah Pippins, and inspired me to create a Reel about my biggest mistake of 2025. The Reel is about 2 minutes and 30 seconds. Shot in one take. Just hit record and yapped (see it here) Here is my biggest mistake: I launched too many offers. I’ve launched around a dozen offers in the last 18 months. 4 of them have sold…

In-N-Out gets it (most creators don’t)

I took the kids to In-N-Out after church today. It was so busy, we couldn’t find a table. So we ate outside. Being from Michigan, and eating outside 3 days after Chrrtimas doesn’t feel real. We’re sitting next to a palm tree. With snow covered mountains in the distance. In-N-Out has THREE items on their menu. Double Double with cheese Single with cheese Hamburger Not a breakfast menu, lunch menu, dinner menu, kids menu, etc. No limited time special offers “this week only” of some shit like,…
