The tiny moment that decides everything

I learned something wild at church today. I volunteered for the first time this morning. They put me on parking lot duty. I waved people in, smiled, and directed them where to park. Before we started, the leader shared an interesting study. “When someone visits a church for the first time…they decide within eight minutes of pulling into the parking lot whether they’re ever coming back.” I find that fascinating. Eight. Freaking. Minutes. Before the music, sermon and anything meaningful…

Wynn the smallest moments change your whole life

I’m not good at emailing on Saturdays. I dropped the ball last Saturday. And again today. I missed my 4:15 time to send out my email. No excuses. Anywhooo…. Vegas has been acting like Seattle all week. Mid 40s. Rain. gray skies. But I still clocked 12,613 steps yesterday. 591 straight days of walking 10k+ steps (missed 3 days total). There are plenty of days I don’t want to walk. Like yesterday. 47 & rain. It’s something I do. It’s who I am now. I started that streak back when I was driving…

Built on delusion (and discipline)

I was doomscrolling IG (IG is the only social app I have on my phone bc of IG Stories) I stumbled on this quote: “There’s so much power in believing that everything will work out, even when you don’t know how or when” There’s so much fu*king power in believing things will work out… Even when you have no clue, when, how or what timeline. This is self trust. Self trust is a skill. It’s built the same way confidence is: Brick-by-brick. Post-by-post. Email-by-email. Day-by-day. Week-by-week….

$1,239.75

I made $1,239.75 this month selling a $5 tool (1 Hour Offer™). Here’s the wild part… I haven’t been promoting it that hard. I casually mention it on social and my email. I didn’t do a big launch or anything. Heck, I took it offline for 3 days. I’m not running ads or anything to it, either. I’m showing up, serving, and sharing what I’m doing as I’m doing it. This isn’t “work 12 hours a day and grind your face off” money. This is what I call “margin money”. Dinner at 5:30 with the kids money….

This DM would’ve destroyed the old me

I share the good DMs. So, I gotta share the other side, too… Woke up to this DM on IG: I bet he’d be fun to party with 😜 The old Adam would have let this get to him. He might have “toned down” his message after getting something like this. He might have questioned what he was doing. Shit, I might have “taken a break” from posting content for a bit after something like this. The new Adam… I laughed when I read it. Immediately, took a screenshot and shared on IG. Then was like….”This is…

589 days later… I became a different dude

I’ve walked 10,000 steps a day since April 9th, 2024. 589 days. Well, 586, if we’re being technical, as I’ve missed 3 days. I remember the day I made the change. It was my Dad’s birthday, April 9, 2024. I started because my life felt a bit chaotic. Kids, content, Uber shifts back then. It was BUSY. I needed one part of my day that wasn’t a hot mess. One rhythm. One promise. One anchor. Somewhere around day 200…then again around day 337…then day 489…something shifted. The walks stopped…
